Geographic Scope: Texas statewide

Focus Areas:

• Emergency relief to LGBTQ+ communities in response to COVID-19
• Critical social justice work at the intersections of race and LGBTQ+ identities
• Direct services supporting LGBTQ+ people experiencing economic strife
• Support for organizations addressing systemic racism and related issues (lack of medical care, food insecurity, violence at the hands of law enforcement)

Eligibility:

• 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
• Organizations providing direct service to LGBTQ+ communities across Texas
• Organizations leading intersectional racial justice and LGBTQ+ work

Funding Goal: Raise at least $100,000 by August 31, 2020 to support organizations across Texas

About the Partners:

• Equality Texas: Largest statewide organization working to secure full equality for LGBTQ+ Texans through political action, education, community organizing, and collaboration
• Equality Texas Foundation: Works through education, community organizing, and collaboration
• Texas Pride Impact Funds: Propels the LGBTQ+ movement in Texas by supporting nonprofits, strengthening community organizations and leaders, mobilizing donors and funders, and securing the LGBTQ+ community's future

Application Process

Timeline:

• Application survey release: mid-July 2020
• Campaign deadline: August 31, 2020
• Awards announcement and distribution: early September 2020
