Quantum in the Community (QIC) Grants

The Quantum in the Community (QIC) Grants aim to enhance health in Palm Beach County by funding organizations that address basic needs like food, housing, and transportation. With grants of up to $25,000 awarded annually, the foundation has invested over $160 million in local nonprofits over its three-decade history. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) designated and have been operating in the county for at least six months, ensuring a meaningful impact on community health.

In its third decade of community investment, the foundation has assets of approximately $175 million and since its inception has awarded $160 million to hundreds of local nonprofit grantees. Every dollar the foundation grants stays in the county to benefit local communities.
QIC grants are for organizations that support health by providing for basic needs such as food, housing, transportation, financial assistance, and clothing.
Funding
QIC grants are awarded once a year and are $25,000 or less.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Quantum in the Community grant, your organization must meet these criteria:501(c)(3) IRS designation
Annual cash expenses of $500,000 or less
Have been working in Palm Beach County for a minimum of six months
Programs and services must provide basic needs assistance to individuals and families in Palm Beach County.

Ineligibility

Political causes, candidates, organizations, or campaigns
Grants to 509(a)(3), type III supporting organizations that are not “functionally integrated”.
