Our Mission Persistent and unyielding in our commitment to a just multiracial democracy, Public Wise fights to secure a government that reflects the will and protects the rights of the people. We accomplish this through education, research, organizing, funding, and partnerships that support more voting and more equitable representation. Public Wise Public Wise is a 501c4 formed at the end of 2019 with the mission to create a government that reflects the will of the people. We believe this is best achieved through expanded democracy access. We provide unrestricted, operational grants for organizations working on voting rights and democracy. Grant Opportunities Public Wise grants are specifically designated as unrestricted, operational funds for groups working on the frontlines of the voter rights fight, both at the grassroots and national level. Our current funding supports efforts to ensure access to the ballot, help voters create voting plans, litigate against voter suppression, and build power in BIPOC communities.
