Important Note: Due to USDA grant termination in 2025, the Produce Perks SNAP Matching program will pause in some regions of Ohio beginning April 1, 2026. This is described as a pause, not the end of the program. All participants are encouraged to spend remaining Produce Perks SNAP Match tokens by March 31, 2026, as tokens and incentives cannot be issued or redeemed in areas with a program pause after April 1st, 2026.

Program History: Nearly a decade of operation connecting families using SNAP with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

How to Use the Program

At Farmers' Markets:
1. Visit the information booth at the farmers' market before shopping
2. Swipe your SNAP/EBT card at the booth
3. Receive $1-for-$1 match tokens (up to $25 per day)
4. Use tokens to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables
5. Your SNAP funds can be used for any eligible groceries

At Grocery Stores:
1. Select fruits and vegetables and present your SNAP/EBT card at checkout
2. Store applies $1-for-$1 match (up to $15 per day)
3. Receive benefits as either instant discount or coupons for next trip (varies by partner)
4. Ask cashier for details on how your store administers the match
