Pride Gives Back

NYC Pride awards grants to local nonprofits and community organizations that provide essential support, services, and programming for LGBTQIA+ populations in the NYC tri-state area.

Geographic Scope: New York City tri-state area

Focus Areas:

• Creating new events or programs
• Expanding or innovating existing services
• Improving access to local resources among marginalized LGBTQIA+ populations
• Public policy, advocacy, and social justice initiatives

Priority Populations (2026):

• Trans and GNB/GNC individuals
• Youth and elder populations
• LatinX, BIPOC, food- and housing-insecure, and immigrant populations
• Marginalized LGBTQIA+ groups

Eligibility:

• Local nonprofits and community organizations
• Must serve LGBTQIA+ populations in NYC tri-state area
• 501(c)(3) status likely required (standard nonprofit grant requirement)

History:

• Since 1984, NYC Pride has awarded more than $25 million through this program
• 2025: $100,000 awarded to 11 nonprofits
• 2026: $75,000 awarded to 11 nonprofits

Application Process

Deadline for 2027: Expected early 2027 (applications for 2026 were due February 1, 2026)

4. Grantees notified approximately one month after deadline
