Program Description:
Each year, the GRAMMY Museum Grant Program awards grants to individuals and small to mid-sized organizations to enhance their ability to preserve collections that embody the recorded sound heritage of North America. This grant is available to help with planning, assessment, and preparation of recorded sound collections to be archived or preserved.

Letter of Intent (LOI) Requirements

The LOI includes the following information:

1. Applicant Information
- Individual or organization details
- Organization size/type (if applicable)

2. Collection Description
- Overview of recorded sound collection to be preserved
- Description of heritage being preserved
- Current condition and status of collection

3. Planning/Assessment/Preparation Activities
- Specific planning, assessment, or preparation activities needed
- Timeline for these activities
- How this grant will enhance preservation capacity

4. Implementation Plan
- How results will be used to prepare for future archiving/preservation
- Next steps after assessment/planning phase
