Prepared to Learn Program
Overview: The Prepared to Learn Program is designed to offer immediate assistance to NPPS students in need by providing necessary elements crucial to their academic, emotional and social success, all in a confidential manner.
Background: Since its creation in Spring 2010, the NPPSF Prepared to Learn Program has helped with broken eyeglasses, nutritional needs during the school day, lack of appropriate clothing, student activity cards, and necessary school supplies.
Geographic Scope: North Platte Public School District, Nebraska (all 13 schools)

How to Apply
Prepared to Learn Program - Request Process
How NPPS Staff Submit Requests:
1. NPPS staff members identify students in need
2. Staff members submit request through the Prepared to Learn Request form (available to NPPS staff on the foundation website)
3. Prepared to Learn Committee member in the student's building reviews the request
4. Committee member works to assist the student immediately
