Prairie Meadows Event Sponsorships & Donations provides vital support to nonprofit organizations in Iowa, enhancing community initiatives through event sponsorships and in-kind donations. As a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, Prairie Meadows focuses on promoting arts, culture, education, and economic development. Applications for funding are accepted year-round, ensuring a broad range of projects can benefit from their resources, fostering growth and community engagement throughout the region.

ABOUT PRAIRIE MEADOWS
Prairie Meadows has played an important role in central Iowa since we opened in 1989.
As a licensed 501(c)(4) nonprofit corporation, Prairie Meadows supports a broad range of nonprofit proposals and projects that support arts and culture, education, economic development, and human services.
Sponsorship & Donations
Prairie Meadows provides support to non-profit organizations for event sponsorships and in-kind donations. Applications are accepted throughout the year.

Eligibility

Applicants must represent a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that has received a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) designation from the Internal Revenue Service or must be a unit of political subdivisions, or other such non-profit organizations that focus exclusively on the promotion of social welfare as determined by Prairie Meadows at its sole discretion.

Ineligibility

Organizations whose IRS tax-exempt status is pending approval are not able to apply for funding from Prairie Meadows.Prairie Meadows does not accept sponsorship and/or donation applications for the following:Organizations, projects, or programs outside of the state of IowaPolitical parties, campaigns, candidates, or partisan organizationsPrivate foundationsIndividualsOrganizations that would redistribute the funds received to other groups (with the exception of a fiscal agent)Funding for programs or events that have already been completedIncomplete applicationsAny organization that has a requirement overdueYouth sports teamsHigh school after-prom or graduation parties
