Polk County Engineering/Geological Scholarship This scholarship awards one $3,000 grant, renewable for up to three additional years for students who maintain a 3.0 GPA and remain enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. Eligible applicants are graduating high school seniors from Bolivar, Buffalo, Fair Play, Halfway, Humansville, Marion C. Early, Pleasant Hope, Polk County Christian, Skyline, Stockton, or Weaubleau High School. Students must plan to major in Engineering or Geological Sciences at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla, MO) or pursue an Engineering or Geological curriculum at Missouri S&T’s Missouri State University–Springfield Campus, including Geology or Earth Science education programs at MSU. Applicants must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA, submit a transcript, and provide an essay describing their community service, school activities, and work experience.
