Polaris Trails Grants Program

The Polaris Trails Grants Program, launched in January 2006, supports off-road and snow clubs across the U.S. and Canada. This pioneering initiative funds projects that promote safe riding, trail preservation, and environmental protection. Organizations can receive up to $10,000 for trail development, safety initiatives, and maintaining land access. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(7) organizations, while funds are not available for politically or religiously affiliated programs.

Launched in January 2006 for off-road and snow clubs, associations and grassroots groups, this industry-first program supports you—our riders—in keeping people riding.
The Polaris TRAILS GRANTS program makes funds available to organizations in the United States and Canada to promote safe and responsible riding, support trail preservation and help protect the environment and natural resources that are a part of the off-road trail systems. Funds can be used by organizations for off-road trail development and maintenance projects, safety and education initiatives, and other projects to increase and maintain land trail access.
The first of its kind in the ATV industry, the T.R.A.I.L.S. grant program was launched in January 2006 for ATV clubs, associations and grassroots groups. ATV riders and the trails they use are the lifeblood of the sport and Polaris Industries Inc. aimed to create a program to help.
The grant program encompasses two main objectives
promoting safe and responsible riding and preserving access.
Funds can be used by organizations for:

• Trail development and maintenance projects
• Responsible riding
• Access
• Initiatives
• Lobbying
• Safety

SafetyGrant funding is limited to a maximum of $10,000 per request. Organizations can apply for either monetary or products as long as it does not exceed $10,000 and may apply for two grants per year.

Eligibility

All organizations must be 501(c)(3), 501(c)(7) government or non-profit organizations. The Polaris T.R.A.I.L.S. Grant Program makes funds available to national, state and local organizations in the United States and Canada to ensure the future of OHV riding.

Ineligibility
