Plant-for-the-Planet Ambassador Award

Program Type: Recognition and awards program for young climate activists

Geographic Scope: Global

Target Audience:

  • Climate Justice Ambassadors aged 8-25

  • Must have attended Plant-for-the-Planet academies or be long-time supporters

  • Only projects that are either realized or ongoing with measurable impact are considered
  • Age Categories:

  • 8-15 years old (regional winners)

  • 16-25 years old (global winner)
    • Eligible Project Types

    • Tree-planting activities and events
    • Academy organization
    • Speaker series
    • Fundraising campaigns
    • Local policymaker engagement
    • Non-violent protests or demonstrations
    • Environmentally-themed music festivals
    • Creative communication (short stories, poems, art)
    • Any initiative connected to Plant-for-the-Planet's mission

    Project Timeline: No restriction on how recent projects need to be; lasting impact is recognized regardless of when accomplished

      Important Notes

    • Applications accepted in multiple languages (English preferred; DeepL.com translation assistance available)
    • Consent required from individuals featured in submitted media
    • If minimum applications not met, award process may be postponed or modified
    • Applicants notified of changes via email
    • Response timeline: no later than one month after application deadline
