Phoenix Police Cadet Scholarship
Funder: 906 Foundation (PLEA & 906 Foundation)
Program Purpose: Merit-based scholarship for Phoenix Police Cadets pursuing careers in law enforcement or first responder fields.
Award Details:
- Must be a Phoenix Police Cadet
- Must meet or exceed Phoenix Police Cadet policy
- Must be a graduate of the cadet academy
- Must be a high school senior OR attending college/university
- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA (verified through official transcripts)
- Must be pursuing a career with intent of future employment in law enforcement/first responder area
- NOT required to be enrolled in a criminal justice degree program
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student
Eligibility Requirements
- Each school year requires official transcripts proving 3.0 GPA and full-time student status
- Enrollment verification form must be provided to 906 Foundation between semesters

Application Process
Important Note: Cadets not following the application process and/or submitting incomplete information will not be considered.
Required Materials
1. Complete application form 2. Recommendation letter from the Post Lead Advisor 3. Current resume 4. Official high school/college transcripts 5. 300-word essay on the topic: "How the Cadet program prepared me for a career as a first responder"- Applications, resume, and essay must be submitted in person

- Submit during business hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
