AKC Reunite Adopt a K-9 Cop Matching Grant Program

Overview: A matching grant program designed to help police departments acquire police K-9 dogs by partnering with AKC clubs and accepting public contributions.

Program Purpose: Many law enforcement agencies lack funding in their budgets for police K-9s, which are considered specialty units. This program provides grants to help police departments obtain K-9s for search and rescue, bomb detection, and overall public safety.
