Phillip L. Turner Fire Protection Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant Status:

Full-time sophomore, junior, or senior student currently registered and enrolled in the upcoming school year, OR

Full-time master's degree student

Academic Program Requirements:

Enrolled in a four-year Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Administration degree program, OR

Enrolled in a full-time master's degree program in Fire Protection Engineering or Administration

Program must be at an accredited four-year university or college

Located within the United States or Canada

Must require in-person, traditional classroom learning (not online or hybrid programs)

Eligible Universities: Programs must be at institutions listed in FAMA's Addendum A, including:

Program Background

This scholarship is facilitated by FAMA's Education-Scholarship Committee as part of their mission to support and recognize students at universities offering fire science and engineering programs, strengthen FAMA's service to its membership, and enhance relationships with fire science programs.
