Overview

Pfizer Emergent Leader Award Purpose To recognize up to eight individuals* in the second year and above of their graduate studies or undertaking post-doctoral research. The applicants must perform research in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry or chemical biology. Female-identified individuals (both cis and trans) and persons assigned female at birth (AFAB). Awardees will present their research at an awards symposium during the ACS Spring Meeting. They will receive a $1,500 stipend to cover ACS Spring Meeting travel expenses and be recognized at the WCC ‘Just Cocktails’ reception and at the WCC Luncheon.
