Program Goals:
Provides small and medium-sized grants to nephrologists and researchers studying pediatric glomerular diseases. The program aims to provide critical seed funding to take research ideas from concepts to exploration, leading to new treatments and cures for children affected by rare, protein-spilling kidney diseases.

Eligibility:

Open to any pediatric nephrologist or pediatric nephrology scientist

Applicants do NOT need to be a member of PNRC to apply

International applicants welcome

Award Tiers:

Small Awards: $10,000 - $20,000

Medium Awards: $50,000 - $75,000

Review Process:
Both NephCure and PNRC review grant applications. Awardees are announced in the fall at the PNRC members meetings.

Collaboration between NephCure and PNRC came from mutual desire to promote and support bench, translational, and clinical research in pediatric glomerular disease. Designed to address the gap of critical seed funding for innovative research ideas in pediatric glomerular disorders.
