Pecatonica Excellence in Education Fund Grant

The Pecatonica Excellence in Education Fund, established in 2010, is an endowment fund managed by the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. It provides vital resources to support the Pecatonica Area Schools, enhancing educational programs and recognizing student achievements. Grants are awarded annually to fund projects that fall outside the district's budget, ensuring that students receive innovative and quality educational opportunities. This initiative strengthens educational programming not typically covered by tax dollars.

The Community Foundation is a repository for more than 700 charitable funds worth more than $50 million. We service these funds by managing the investment, encouraging and supporting additions, overseeing the disbursement of grants and scholarships, and managing the requisite government paperwork.
The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin serves communities in nine Southern Wisconsin counties: Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk, Vernon, and Walworth.
The Pecatonica Excellence in Education (EIE) Fund is an endowment fund that provides private resources for the support the Pecatonica Area Schools. Grants from the fund enhance educational programs, offer extended educational opportunities, encourage innovation, and recognize the achievements of students and staff.

Gifts to Excellence in Education funds are an investment in quality education for today’s students and future generations. Private resources allow for educational programming not typically funded by tax dollars.
Once per year the advisory board awards grants to the local school district for projects and/or programs that fall outside of the confines of the District’s operating budget. Grants are awarded at a ceremony in May.
