Patricia Kind Family Foundation Grant

The Patricia Kind Family Foundation Grant supports organizations in Philadelphia tackling poverty-related challenges. The Patricia Kind Family Foundation operates no programs of its own, but performs its mission by funding proven approaches from non-profit 501(c)3 organizations.

The Patricia Kind Family Foundation only accepts applications, supporting documentation, and grant reports online. Most giving is in the range of $10,000 to $25,000/year for a one to three year period. We encourage organizations to apply for multi-year general operating support funds.
Site visits are done on all programs selected for possible funding and, if possible, the Trustees want to see the program “in action”.

Eligibility

We now only accept applications from organizations providing services in Philadelphia County (this does not include Trustee Grants). Ineligibility

Excluded from the Foundation’s funding priorities are:Grants in direct support of individuals, i.e., scholarships or fellowships; Endowments; and Capital projects.
