Pablove Seed Grants - Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS)

The Pablove Foundation offers the Powered by Pablove Seed Grants to support innovative research on Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS) and other pediatric cancers. These grants, up to $100,000 over two years, aim to advance research efforts that may lead to larger funding opportunities. The foundation encourages applications from early-career researchers and established investigators alike, focusing on various aspects of childhood cancer research and the development of new therapeutic approaches.

What Powered by Pablove Research Grants Fund
The Pablove Foundation invites pediatric cancer researchers to apply for our Powered by Pablove Seed Grant Program, which provides funds to conduct innovative, cutting-edge investigations, with preferences going toward less common childhood cancers. In addition, projects that focus on Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS) will be considered. Our seed grants serve to advance the work of our researchers to qualify for larger grants, federal funding, and clinical trial. The Pablove Foundation is interested in principal investigators who will join us in taking risks, pushing for new solutions, and harnessing the transformative power of science in their research in the following broad areas:

• Genetics
• Preclinical Models
• Biomarkers and Surrogate Markers
• Prognostic Factors
• Diagnosis
• Innovative Clinical Therapeutic Trials
• Minimal Residual Disease Detection

• Amelioration of Long-Term Effects of Therapy

By seeking answers and adding to the body of knowledge in pediatric cancer research, The Pablove Foundation will make an impact on the lives of children who are affected by childhood cancer.
Powered by Pablove OMS Grants provide up to $100,000 in direct costs for two (2) years of funding for research focusing on opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome. Upon timely submission of the required deliverables, an additional 5% of the award amount (up to $5,000) will be provided to the sponsoring institutions to cover indirect costs (F&A) at the end of the grant’s performance period.
What Can the Funds Be Used For
All direct funds may be used for direct costs that cover investigators’ salaries (including key personnel other than the PI), supplies, technical help, small equipment directly related to the proposed project, and travel. Indirect (F&A) costs, other than those described above, are not allowed, and purchases of capital equipment are strongly discouraged and are typically not approved

Eligibility

All our Powered by Pablove Seed Grants are designed for researchers currently towards the end of their clinical fellowship or postdoctoral training or within five (5) years of completion of training.
Applicants must have an MD or PhD or equivalent degree.
International applicants and institutions are welcome to apply for all grants; there is no residency requirement.We do allow multiple submissions from a single institution.Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS) Grants ONLY: Please note that the Pablove Foundation welcomes broad-ranging applications applicable to OMS, including from investigators who are in a clinical fellowship, postdoctoral training, or are established investigators.

Ineligibility

Past Powered by Pablove grant recipients are not eligible to apply.Multiple LOI submissions for the same principal investigator, even if for different grant opportunities, are not allowed.
