Outdoor Fund - Local Impact Grant Supporting local organizations and projects that engage communities near our retail locations and align with our conservation pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat and Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors. Example Projects Youth fishing clinic, adaptive kayak launch, equipment request for a gear library, local trail maintenance project. Background Under the visionary leadership of founder Johnny Morris, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s is leading North America’s largest conservation movement. Together with our partners in conservation, we’re positively shaping the future of the outdoors through donations, grant-making and advocacy. Funding Requested Grant Amount: Up to $5,000

Eligibility

Organization Eligibility U.S: Must be a municipality, public institution, or registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) or other 501(c) determination.Organization Eligibility Canada: Must be a provincially registered nonprofit, municipality, public institution, or an organization registered as having charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).Request must be for a specific project, program, or community event that is focused on one of our key conservation pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat or Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors.Organizations that receive a grant from the Outdoor Fund are expected to use all funds within one calendar year of funding date.

Ineligibility

The Outdoor Fund does not support fundraising events, banquets, and/or items to be given away to participants, general operating support, capital campaigns or endowments, construction and building costs, projects that are in the design or development phase, ATV/UTV and boat requests.
