Community Support - Fundraising Events and Giveaway Donations Grant

Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's Outdoor Fund supports conservation-focused nonprofits through fundraising events and donation of merchandise or gift cards. Organizations eligible for funding must be registered 501(c)(3) entities in the U.S. or provincially registered nonprofits in Canada. This initiative aims to connect communities to outdoor activities while promoting wildlife conservation and support for military veterans. Grants of up to $1,000 are available to enhance local fundraising efforts.

Supporting fundraising events, banquets and giveaways for conservation and military-focused nonprofits through donations of merchandise.
Providing merchandise or gift cards to local organizations near our retail stores. Eligible organizations must focus on conserving wildlife and habitat, connecting new audiences to the outdoors, or supporting military and veterans.

Under the visionary leadership of founder Johnny Morris, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s is leading North America’s largest conservation movement. Together with our partners in conservation, we’re positively shaping the future of the outdoors through donations, grant-making and advocacy.
Funding
Requested Grant Amount: Up to $2,500 in merchandise or gift cards.

Eligibility

Organization Eligibility U.S: Must be a municipality, public institution, or registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) or other 501(c) determination.Organization Eligibility Canada: Must be a provincially registered nonprofit, municipality, public institution, or an organization registered as having charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).Requests must be for in kind donations to be used at fundraisers, banquets, raffles, door prizes, including handouts to be given away at events. Eligible organizations must have a mission that aligns with our conservation and community pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat, Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors or Supporting Military and Veterans.

Ineligibility

Scouting programs are not eligible for this type of request. Please refer to the Outdoor Fund Scout Grant application.
