Background
The Marin Music Chest provides scholarships based on merit to young classical musicians. In addition, using funds generated by the organization's endowment, the Music Chest funds select non-profits which assist music students who need financial help to study music.- Must be a non-profit organization serving Marin County
- Must re-apply each year support is requested
- Must be able to provide a representative or group to attend one of Music Chest's annual concerts (Scholarship Winners Concert or Young Artists Concert in May)
Eligibility
- Annual Reporting: Organizations must submit a yearly written report detailing how funds were spent and the impact they had
- Concert Attendance: Each organization must send a representative or group to one of Music Chest's annual concerts
- Re-application: Annual re-application required for continued support

- Cost of participation in program (both aggregate and per person)
- Number of students in need of support
- Age range of participating students
- Amount of money needed to provide that support
- Schools in which students are enrolled
4. Additional Information:
- Any other information the Music Chest should know
