Overview: The CCIM Institute Foundation Opportunity Scholarship Program helps foster an inclusive commercial real estate professional community by funding the path to the CCIM Pin (gold standard designation) for qualifying individuals.

Purpose: Jump-start and transform commercial real estate careers by funding Designation course enrollment and fees.

Geographic Scope: United States and Canada (CCIM Institute service area)

Award Amount: Up to $5,000

Focus Areas:

Support for first-generation commercial real estate professionals

Funding for CCIM Designation curriculum and courses

Careers in brokerage, investment, facilities management, development, and related sectors

Creating inclusive commercial real estate professional community

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a First-Generation Commercial Real Estate Professional
• Must have successfully completed CI 101: Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate
• A limited number awarded annually

Program Timeline (2026 cycle)

• Application Opens: August 2026
• Application Closes: October 31, 2026
• Winners Announced: December 2026
