Opportunity Grants - Community

Funder: The Foundation for Douglas County Schools

Geographic Scope: Douglas County Schools (DCSD), Colorado

Purpose: Help educators and schools support essential needs of their students through need-based funding.

Eligibility:

Any Douglas County school is eligible to apply

Schools, sites or programs may receive funding for up to three different projects in one school year

Award Criteria:

Need-based selection process

Selection committee seeks to support projects that:

- Fulfill a critical need
- Demonstrate long-term impact
- Are funding dependent
- Preference given to projects serving high-needs student populations (lower-income schools or low-income subsets of students)
