Operation Round Up (ORU) - Organization Grants

Geographic Scope: Berkeley Electric Cooperative service territory (Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties, SC)

Program Description: Operation Round Up is a voluntary program where members of Berkeley Electric Cooperative combine their money to help fund worthy projects and help those in need in the service area. The program is administered by Berkeley Electric Trust, a board of directors made up of community leaders from the service territory.

Eligibility:

• Organizations located in Berkeley Electric Cooperative service territory
• Projects must align with Operation Round Up guidelines (see guidelines document for approved project types)

Application Process

1. Contact Local District Office: Organizations must contact their local Berkeley Electric Cooperative district office to obtain the appropriate application form
2. Obtain Application: Request the organization application (trust_organization_application.pdf)
3. Review Guidelines: Consult the Operation Round Up guidelines for list of approved projects
4. Complete Application: Fill out the organization application form
5. Submit: Return completed application to local district office
