Beneficial Suggestion Program (BennySuggs)

Program Description: The Beneficial Suggestions Program recognizes members for beneficial ideas that help improve Berkeley Electric Cooperative's services. Members are rewarded for ideas that make the Cooperative's mission to enhance the lives of its members more successful.

Eligible Suggestion Areas:

  • New outreach programs

  • Improving educational efforts

  • Ways to boost safety and energy efficiency

  • Suggestions that improve the way the Cooperative operates on a daily basis

    • Eligibility:

  • Must be eligible Berkeley Electric Cooperative member

    • Award Details:

  • Credit applied directly to energy bill

  • Award amounts proportionate to benefits resulting from suggestion or expected savings

  • Up to $500 maximum per approved suggestion

  • Suggestions do not need to be new or original

  • Must address specific problem with workable solution
