Operation Round Up (ORU) - Individual Grants

Geographic Scope: Berkeley Electric Cooperative service territory (Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties, SC)

Program Description: Operation Round Up is a voluntary program where members of Berkeley Electric Cooperative combine their money to help fund worthy projects and help those in need in the service area. The program is administered by Berkeley Electric Trust, a board of directors made up of community leaders from the service territory.

Eligibility:

• Individual members of Berkeley Electric Cooperative
• Projects must align with Operation Round Up guidelines (see guidelines document for approved project types)

Application Process

1. Obtain Application: Download the 2026 Trust Individual Application PDF from berkeleyelectric.coop
2. Review Guidelines: Consult the Operation Round Up guidelines for list of approved projects

4. Submit: Contact local Berkeley Electric Cooperative district office for submission instructions
