The Foundation is now accepting grant applications for our first of two grant cycles for 2025. Mission: Empower people who turn adversity into possibility The Open Hearts Foundation empowers emerging and growing nonprofit organizations whose origins and mission are consistent with the Open Hearts philosophy. As a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit charity, the Foundation believes we can all do something to help others. Purpose statement: The Foundation accelerates purpose through its grant making and volunteerism programs curating incredible opportunities to engage hands on with philanthropic causes. Open Hearts Foundation Grants Thank you for your interest in the Open Hearts Foundation grant. We’re inspired by your dedication to driving change and can’t wait to learn more about the impact you’re making. Our wraparound support is here to lift your mission higher—with amplified visibility, shared learning, compelling storytelling, hands-on volunteers, and the tools to help your efforts thrive. For the remainder of 2025, we have two grant funding cycles. For this cycle, we aim to award between $100,000 to $150,000 in funding. Any remaining funds not distributed during this cycle will be allocated in the final cycle. Our total grant goal for 2025 is $300,000. Grant funds will range between $15,000 and $25,000 per nonprofit on an annual basis. Grant Cycle July 2025 Focus Area Arts-based mental health and healing initiatives for vulnerable populations, highlighting the therapeutic power of creative expression across visual performing or literary arts.

Ineligibility

The Foundation will NOT fund: Direct aid to individualsGovernmental Agencies or Organizations Influencing legislation or electionsFaith based programming, sectarian religious organizations, or churchesOrganizations that discriminate based on age, disability, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, race or religionBuilding plans, improvements or capital campaigns
