Ocean Engineering and Instrumentation Ph.D. Fellowship The Link Foundation proudly offers six 1-Year Fellowships of $35,000 for students working towards a Ph.D. degree The main goals of the Link Foundation Ocean Engineering and Instrumentation Ph.D. Fellowship are: Foster ocean engineering and ocean instrumentation research.Enhance both the theoretical and practical knowledge and applications of ocean engineering and ocean instrumentation research.Disseminate the results of that research through lectures, seminars and publications. Funding The award consists of $35,000 and can be used towards: The Fellow’s academic year and summer stipend. Examples of charges not considered legitimate include: Tuition – it is expected that the Fellow’s institution will waive or assume tuition charges.Summer salary or other compensation for the research advisor.Pooled or overhead costs, and salary for support staff (e.g. secretarial or clerical help).
