Funding Philosophy: Trust-based grantmaking with commitment to general operating support grants for nonprofit and school partners.

Eligible Organizations

• Status: Nonprofit agencies with evidence of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
• Not classified as a private foundation
• Location: Located within and primarily serving residents of Merced County
• Non-discrimination: Operated and organized so that they do not discriminate in the hiring of staff or in providing services on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin or disability
• Registration: All organizations must be registered with the California Secretary of State and be in good standing with the California Office of the Attorney General - Registry of Charitable Trusts
