Community Foundation of Merced County Grants

The Community Foundation of Merced County is dedicated to enhancing local nonprofits and schools through trust-based grantmaking. By prioritizing inclusivity, they support diverse organizations serving the Merced County area, addressing the needs of all age groups from infants to the elderly. Their funding aims to create a prosperous future for the community, ensuring equitable access to resources while fostering collaboration among local donors and agencies.

Grantmaking
Our goal is to bolster the success and impact of organizations in Merced County. We have a commitment to trust-based grantmaking and general operating support grants for nonprofit, and school, partners addressing our priority funding areas.
Our funding priorities are inclusive of the broad array of needs arising in Merced County.

Eligibility

Eligible Organizations are:Nonprofit agencies with evidence of tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and not classified as a private foundation
Located within and primarily serving residents of Merced County
Operated and organized so that they do not discriminate in the hiring of staff or in providing services on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin or disability
