Non-recurring Capital Improvement Grants

Overview: The Watertown Foundation provides grants to support capital improvement projects for tax-exempt nonprofit organizations serving the local community.

Geographic Scope: Nonprofit organizations located within a 15-mile radius of Watertown, Connecticut. Proposed projects must benefit Watertown residents.

Eligible Organizations:

  • Average grant award is less than $3,000

  • Not all proposals received will be funded

  • Not all approved requests are fully funded

  • On occasion, the Foundation may consider multi-year grant requests

  • Highly competitive selection process due to high volume of qualifying applications
