No-interest emergency loan designed to provide immediate financial relief to Afghan and Iraqi SIV recipients facing unexpected challenges during their resettlement in the United States.

Eligible Applicants:

• Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders with valid SIV
• Must hold a valid U.S. Driving License
• Only one family member may apply for a loan at a time

Award Details:

• Maximum loan amount: $4,000
• Interest rate: 0% (interest-free)
• Designed for immediate financial relief
• No interest charged

• Household essentials
• Emergency medical expenses
• Utilities
• Groceries
• Clothing
• Other critical needs during resettlement

Geographic Scope: Available in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

• Automatic qualification if participant in NOLB mentorship program
