Overview

NOTE: All grant applicants that plan to submit a LOI (December 19, 2025) are required to attend the Virtual Technical Assistance (TA) session to be held on December 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM – to 11:00 AM. This session will provide an opportunity for applicants to review, clarify and ask questions about the RFA and the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE). New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) The New Jersey Department of Health leads the state’s response to public health challenges and works to improve health outcomes for all New Jersey residents. Through its three primary branches—Public Health Services, Health Systems, and Integrated Health—the Department collaborates across programs and partners to strengthen New Jersey’s health system. Guided by its mission to protect public health, promote healthy communities, and improve the quality of health care, the Department supports initiatives that advance prevention, system integration, and equitable access to health services statewide. NJCCR: Pilot Program Research Grant The pilot is a 2 year grant designed to address current priority areas which focuses on the genetic, biochemical, viral, microgiological and environmental causes of cancer, and may include, but is not limited to: behavioral, socioeconomic, demographic and psycho social research or research into methods of clinical treatment (no clinical trials) or which focuses on pain management/palliative, cancer health disparities, immunotherapy/biologics for cancer, artificial intelligence and return on investment of cancer research grant.
