Newington Greater Together Community Fund Grant

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has launched the $100,000 Greater Together Community Fund Grant for Newington. This initiative aims to empower local communities by fostering ownership of their needs, promoting inclusive civic engagement, and strengthening the Foundation's presence in towns. Eligible applicants include any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving West Hartford residents, regardless of their base. The GTCF Committee will facilitate a process to identify community needs and ensure impactful grantmaking.

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has established a $100,000 Greater Together Community Fund for the Town of Newington.
The purpose of the Greater Together Community Funds program is to:

• Support the community in taking ownership around the needs in their towns
• Encourage broad and inclusive civic engagement and
• Anchor the Hartford Foundation in each town.
• Newington GTCF Committee Members

The role of the GTCF Committee is to design and lead an inclusive process to identify the needs in your community, and design a grantmaking process aimed to ensure that the Greater Together Community Funds can have the greatest impact for the benefit of town residents.

Eligibility

Any nonprofit registered as a 501(c)(3) organization serving the residents of West Hartford is eligible to submit an application, regardless of where it is based.
