Geographic Scope: Open to students (not limited to Guadalupe County)

Award Amount: Up to $8,000 total ($1,000 per semester for up to 8 semesters)

Focus Areas: Healthcare-related fields

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled returning student
• Must major in a healthcare-related field throughout the scholarship period (Veterinary or animal health does not qualify)
• Full-time enrollment and completion (12+ hours for undergraduate, 6+ hours for post-graduate) per semester
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Must submit typed and signed letter of personal and professional goals

Award Structure

• Does NOT auto-renew
• Must reapply each semester
• $1,000 per semester
• Competitive scholarship based on merit and quality
• Neatness, completeness, and effort matter and will be taken into account

Renewal Requirements

• Maintain cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Submit official transcript each semester for renewal
• Provide proof of registration each semester for renewal
• Submit new healthcare scholarship application each semester

Application Deadlines

• April 15th - Renewals and Returning Students' applications due
• May 15th - Summer Semester Renewals and Returning Students' applications due
• July 15th - Fall Semester Renewals and Returning Students' applications due
• December 15th - Spring Semester Renewals and Returning Students' applications due
