Award Amount: Up to $8,000 total ($1,000 per semester for up to 8 semesters)

Focus Areas: Healthcare fields (undergraduate majors)

Eligibility

• Graduating senior from Santa Rosa High School, Vaughn High School, New Mexico Military Institute, or Home School
• Must major in a healthcare field throughout the scholarship period (Veterinary or animal health does not qualify)
• Full-time enrollment (12+ hours per semester)
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Must provide two letters of recommendation (non-relatives)
• Must submit typed and signed letter of personal and professional goals

Award Structure

• Auto-renews for up to eight semesters (one-time application only)
• $1,000 per semester
• Competitive scholarship based on merit and quality
• Neatness, completeness, and effort matter and will be taken into account

Renewal Requirements

• Maintain cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Submit official transcript each semester
• Provide proof of registration each semester
• Any lapse in requirements results in forfeiture of auto-renewal
• May apply for Returning Student Scholarship thereafter
