Neighborhood Partners Program The PSEG Foundation is committed to creating more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable communities for all. As part of the commitment to social value, the PSEG Foundation’s strategic pillars are environmental sustainability, social justice, equity, and economic empowerment. Through the NPP, the PSEG Foundation aims to partner with organizations that are transformative, leading change on issues impacting our communities and working towards collaborative solutions. This year the focus of the program is on environmental sustainability and comprehensive support services that address pressing economic needs: affordability, food security and workforce development initiatives. It is highly encouraged that prospective applicants review the Program Rules section to determine eligibility before applying. Foundation Pillars Funding consideration will be provided for programs in alignment with one or more of the PSEG Foundation pillars: Environmental Sustainability (ES)promote environmental sustainability and stewardship; programs that encourage environmental education; facilitate clean energy innovation; preserve ecosystems and encourage conservation and foster environmental justiceSocial Justice (SJ) empower diverse and inclusive communities, focus on addressing inequities and elevate prosperity in communities through strategic initiatives aimed at closing the wealth inequality gapEquity & Economic Empowerment (EEE)consideration will be given to programs that provide comprehensive support services that address pressing economic needs: affordability, food security and workforce development initiatives; additional areas that are part of the EEE pillar and may receive consideration include: ;increase awareness of STEM education and workforce readiness; expand educational opportunities; support neighborhood revitalization through economic development and build healthy, safe and resilient communities.Eligibility

The organization must be an IRS approved 501(c)3 organization and in good standing with the IRSNonprofits can only receive one (1) grant per calendar year from the PSEG FoundationOrganization and program must be within PSEG's service or operating territory New Jersey: Bergen County, Burlington County, Camden County, Essex County, Gloucester County, Hudson County, Hunterdon County, Mercer County, Middlesex County, Monmouth County, Morris County, Ocean County, Passaic County, Somerset County, Union CountyRequests must be for program support Consideration will be granted for requests focused on capacity buildingRequests must be for an upcoming grant cycle and cannot be back dated for a grant term that has concludedIneligibility
We will not consider support for general operating or third party supportWe will not consider support for the following:Organizations that do not meet IRS, and charitable giving regulatory requirementsPrograms/organizations for which PSEG is asked to serve as the sole founderAthletic, labor, or fraternal groupsEndowmentsSectarian purpose programs that promote religious doctrine or exclude participants based on religionOrganizations that discriminate on the basis of race, sexual orientation, gender identify, religion, gender or marital statusPolitical causes, candidates, organizations, and/or campaignsOrganizations with a primary purpose of influencing legislationState government, state government agencies, municipalities, and municipal agenciesOrganizations identified as involved with terrorist groups by the Office of Homeland SecurityFocus Areas & Funding Uses
