PSEG Foundation Giving - Requests for Funding Grant

The PSEG Foundation provides funding for events and initiatives that enhance community safety and environmental stewardship in areas where they operate, such as New Jersey and New York. Organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits that align with the foundation's focus areas, including sustainable neighborhoods and safety preparedness. The application process is rolling, with a response time of 8 to 12 weeks. Proposals must be submitted online between January 1 and October 31, at least eight weeks before the event.

NOTE: Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis and applicants can expect a response within eight to 12 weeks of submission. Organizations must apply online between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31. Proposals must be received at least eight weeks prior to the event date.

Applications will be reviewed using the following criteria:The organization must be an IRS approved 501c3 nonprofitOrganization or program resides or benefits in the places where we do businessConsideration of other funding from PSEG, i.e., additional events or Foundation grantsOrganization/program effectiveness

Ineligibility

The following events are not eligible for PSEG funding:Events benefiting individualsEvents benefiting sectarian purpose organizations that promote religious doctrines or exclude participants based on religionPolitical causes, candidates, organizations or campaignsOrganizations that discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or religionOrganizations with a primary purpose of influencing legislationAthletic, labor or fraternal groupsPlease note that we do not accept unsolicited applications for sponsorships of sporting events, teams, facilities, museums or other institutions.
