Overview

The Neeb Family Foundation (NFF) was founded in late 2004 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with an initial contribution from the Rev. Dr. Larry W. Neeb. When Dr. Neeb passed away in late 2019, he designated additional contributions to NFF from his estate. With contributions from Dr. Neeb and others NFF has grown to approximately $16,000,000. The Neeb Family Foundation focuses its work on Christian projects and institutions. It places special emphasis on the support of Christian educational programs, facilities, and students at all academic levels and programs that facilitate Christian witness and service. Since its inception The Neeb Family Foundation has donated over $6,000,000 in support of Christian education and human care. Neeb Family Foundation Grant To meet needs in the community, The Neeb Family Foundation provides grant money to religious educational institutions and faith-based nonprofit organizations, empowering them to offer direct and practical help to those in need. While we are pleased to on occasion provide academic institutions with grant money for student scholarships and boost less than optimal operating funds, we prefer to donate money to purchase or build tangible and lasting things such as facility additions or upgrades, equipment, furnishings and supplies. In recent years we have committed funds to renovate school classrooms, science labs, counseling centers, food banks and church sanctuaries. We have purchased Chromebooks for low-income students, sponsored back-pack food programs, purchased equipment or furnishings for nonprofits, Spanish language Bibles for distribution in the US, supplies for missionaries overseas and nonperishables for food banks.  While The Neeb Family Foundation is headquartered in the US midwest, religious educational institutions and faith-based nonprofit organizations across the globe can apply for a grant. In just the last 3 years alone we have contributed to schools, parishes and congregations in Arizona, Washington, Missouri, Alabama, Texas, Kansas and Minnesota and internationally to those in Haiti, New Guinea, Kenya, the West Bank, and in aid of Afghan refugee resettlement Other examples of past projects include: Infrastructure repairs or improvements in Christian schools or churches, senior centers, shelters and food banks such as — the repair or replacement of boilers, HVAC, plumbing, kitchen appliances, windows, door locks, floors, playgrounds, and classroom furniture. Vehicle purchases and payoffs. Technology upgrades for Christian schools and churches such as laptops, iPads, chromebooks, whiteboards, internet routers and cabling, multimedia improvements and sound system upgrades. Room and space buildouts for counseling centers, science classrooms, safe spaces and reading spaces. Curriculum purchases for Christian schools.

Eligibility

Only organizations recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service under IRS Code §501(c)(3) are eligible to receive a grant from The NFF. Note that simply being a non-profit corporation is insufficient as is IRS recognition under any other subsection of §501.

Ineligibility

If you are not a 501(c)(3) recognized by the IRS, you should consider another organization for your funding, as we are unable to consider your request.The NFF cannot issue a grant directly to any individual for any purpose.It is highly unlikely we will issue a grant directly to a non-US chartered entity.The NFF rarely, if ever, participates in making its funds available for the organization’s general budget, or debt reduction, financial aid / scholarship, or capital campaigns.
