National Center Supporting Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities

Geographic Scope: Armenia (with international collaboration with Georgia)

Focus Areas: Inclusive education, theater arts, special needs support, confidence building

Target Population: Children with special needs and disabilities, ages 9-14+

Program Description: Provides inclusive theatrical arts programs through MIASIN theater group. Programs focus on:

Theatrical performances and arts therapy

Confidence building and fear management

Social integration

Self-discovery and personal growth

Speech development and communication skills

Recent Projects:

"Colors of Flight" art project - addressing fears and building confidence through theater

"The Journey of the Water Lily" - previous theatrical production

International collaboration with Georgia's "Open House" Symphony Orchestra as part of "Strengthening Women-Led Civil Society" program

Impact: Children overcome personal fears, develop stage confidence, improve speech abilities, and feel accepted and valued

Example Participants:

Sofi (age 9) - overcame butterfly phobia through theater

Abraham Khojoyan (age 14) - speech difficulties student who gained confidence to speak fearlessly on stage
