Nason Foundation Grant

The Nason Foundation Grant, managed by the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation, aims to enhance community health in the Roaring Spring, Martinsburg, Saxton, and Claysburg areas. Established in 1988, the foundation provides financial support to 501(c)(3) organizations that align with its mission of promoting health and vitality through education and funding. Eligible organizations must be located in the service area and can only apply for one grant every twelve months.

Spring Cove Foundation began in 1980 and was renamed the Nason Foundation in 1988. On July 1, 2015 the Nason Foundation entered a management services agreement with the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation to manage the day-to-day operations of the Nason Foundation.
Nason Foundation is an organization that seeks to help and improve the quality and well-being of the local community in the Roaring Spring, Martinsburg, Saxton, and Claysburg area. Through business and careers in and around the local community, the Board has an understanding of the healthcare industry and the local needs and opportunities.
The Nason Foundation provides grants to support community organizations particularly in the health field, within the service area of Nason Hospital (in the Roaring Spring, Martinsburg, Saxton, and Claysburg area).

Eligibility

The organization must be located in or serving, the service area of Nason Hospital.Only 501(c)(3) organizations or organizations that qualify for a deductible contribution using IRS rules. The charity must be a qualified organization that meets the 50% limit organization rules.An organization can only apply for one grant in a twelve (12) month period.The organization must be in alignment with Nason Foundation’s Mission: “To promote the health and vitality of our community through financial support and education.”
