Mystery of the Blue Rose Scholarship Grant

The Mystery of the Blue Rose Scholarship, offered by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation, aims to empower women aged 35 and older who are returning to work in service-related fields, particularly those whose lives have been affected by cancer. This scholarship provides $1,000 to support their educational and professional aspirations, enhancing community well-being through targeted support for these individuals in the Coastal Bend area.

The Mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Coastal Bend by building community endowment and addressing social, educational, environmental, and cultural needs through the awarding of grants and scholarships.

Purpose:
To support females at least 35 years old who are returning to the workforce and planning to work in a service related field, and whose life has been touched in some way by cancer.
Amount:
Awards for each scholarship vary. Scholarships range from $100 to up to $16,000, with the average award being $1,000.
