Note: Denver Film will accept Letters of Intent (LOI) for prospective MOFFOM funding consideration up to the Letter of Inquiry deadline indicated above.Upon review of LOIs, a select number of projects will be invited to submit full applications with due date as above. Denver Film Since 1978, Denver Film has worked to promote film as both an art form and a civic forum. As the only nonprofit theater in Colorado, we’re dedicated to engaging both our members and the general public in a lifelong relationship with film. Denver Film, a 501(c)(3) cultural arts organization, operates the Sie FilmCenter, the organization’s year-round cinematic home, presents the annual award-winning Denver Film Festival in November and a series of spotlight festivals throughout the year. In addition, Denver Film produces the popular summer movies series, Film on the Rocks at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Music on Film-Film on Music (MOFFOM) Documentary Grant The Music on Film-Film on Music (MOFFOM) Documentary Grant Program Is Designed for Projects That Directly Focus on Music. The MOFFOM grant provides up to $20,000 annually in finishing funds for scoring, composition, and music licensing efforts for feature-length documentaries directly related to music in post-production. Guidelines Competitive applications should include the most complete work sample possible in their initial submission. Must be able to provide at least a rough cut by the August 3 finalist deadline.Grant recipients and their fiscal sponsors will be asked to sign a grant agreement and to submit progress reports on the project.

Eligibility

Guidelines:MOFFOM offers grants to selected feature-length documentary films in post-production.We consider feature-length films as having a run time of 70 minutes or longer.Applicants must be 18 years or older.A fiscal sponsor is required to receive funding. International applicants may apply but must have a U.S.-based fiscal sponsor should a grant be awarded.

Ineligibility

We do not consider proposals for fiction films, docu-dramas, student projects, or outreach campaigns.
