Purpose: Promote education programs through integration of arts and culture into teaching

Focus Areas:

• Alutiiq heritage and cultural education
• Teacher professional development
• Arts and culture integration in K-12 education
• Pre-service and early career educator support

Program Structure:

• Pre-service and early career educators paired with mentor teachers
• Partnership with culture bearers, elders and artists
• Lesson plan development aligned with state standards
• Exploration of Alutiiq heritage aspects
