Scholarship Opportunities

Geographic Scope: La Crosse area, Wisconsin

The Foundation administers over 50+ individual scholarship funds that distribute over $250,000 each year to help hundreds of area students pursue their educational dreams.

Eligible Institutions:

• 12 regional high schools
• Western Technical College
• Viterbo University
• University of Wisconsin – La Crosse

Application Process:

• High School Seniors: Applications available through school guidance offices
• College & Nontraditional Students: Check with financial aid office at your institution or other office managing scholarships for list of opportunities and application directions
• School websites may also maintain lists of available scholarship opportunities

Important Note: La Crosse Community Foundation does NOT manage the application process for scholarship funds. Each high school and college/university is responsible for:

• Advertising scholarship opportunities
• Receiving and reviewing applications
• Selecting recipients through their own procedures

How to Apply for Scholarships

For High School Seniors:

1. Contact your school's guidance office
2. Request scholarship applications
3. Complete application materials as directed by your school
4. Submit according to school's timeline and procedures

For College & Nontraditional Students:

1. Contact the financial aid office at your institution
2. Request list of available scholarship opportunities
3. Obtain application instructions from financial aid office
4. Complete and submit applications according to institution's procedures
