Overview: The Foundation administers over 50+ individual scholarship funds that distribute over $250,000 each year to help hundreds of area students pursue their educational dreams.

Eligible Institutions:

  • 12 regional high schools

  • Western Technical College

  • Viterbo University

  • University of Wisconsin – La Crosse
  • Application Process:

  • High School Seniors: Applications available through school guidance offices

  • College & Nontraditional Students: Check with financial aid office at your institution or other office managing scholarships for list of opportunities and application directions

  • School websites may also maintain lists of available scholarship opportunities
  • Important Note: La Crosse Community Foundation does NOT manage the application process for scholarship funds. Each high school and college/university is responsible for:

  • Advertising scholarship opportunities

  • Receiving and reviewing applications

  • Selecting recipients through their own procedures
