Multicultural Action Committee - Cultural Event Grants

The Multicultural Action Committee offers Cultural Event Grants to support community-driven events that promote cultural understanding and inclusion in Longmont. Events must be open to all, free of charge, and held within the city. Grants are reimbursable and require participation in an interview process. Eligible events include celebrations for Martin Luther King Jr., Chinese New Year, and more, fostering a sense of belonging for all community members.

NOTE: The Committee accepts funding applications throughout the year. Must submit grant application at least 60 days prior to your event.
The Longmont Multicultural Action Committee (LMAC) works to inspire the local community to take individual and collective action to promote cultural understanding, inclusion, and involvement and to create a society where everyone belongs. LMAC sponsors and supports yearly events such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, Chinese New Year, Cinco de Mayo, Inclusive Communities, Day of the Dead, and many more.

Eligibility

Events must be advertised, open to all, and free to the public.Events must be held within the City of Longmont.All grants are on a reimbursement basis only.Funds awarded must only be used for the stated purpose of the grant
Grantees must be present during the grant application review and will be asked to participate in a 10-15 minute interview by the committee.

Ineligibility

Alcohol is not an eligible expense for reimbursement.
