Summary

The MRC/SOT General Abstract Submission invites researchers to present their work at the Midwest Regional Chapter Fall Meeting 2025. This event will feature "3-Minute Thesis Competitions" and longer talks, providing an opportunity for all MRC/SOT members and attendees, including graduate and undergraduate students, to showcase their contributions to toxicology. Selected presentations will receive monetary awards to assist with parking fees, while non-selected abstracts will be displayed as Virtual Posters.

Overview

Each year, the Society recognizes scientists who are making a positive impact on the field of toxicology through the SOT Awards program.SOT Awards are distributed by a variety of groups within and connected to SOT and often consist of a stipend or financial support for research. MRC/SOT General Abstract Submission For the Midwest Regional Chapter Fall Meeting 2025, abstracts are being solicited for the format of "3-Minute Thesis Competitions" (3-minute talks using one PowerPoint slide plus 2 minutes of questions) to be presented at the fall meeting. We will also have opportunities for longer talks, based on abstract scoring and selection. Any abstracts not selected for presentation will be included as a Virtual Poster during the meeting. Trainee abstracts selected for presentation at the meeting will be provided with a monetary award to cover parking fees associated with attending the meeting venue.
