Micron Foundation all-time giving The Micron Foundation builds on Micron’s mission to enrich life for all by supporting our communities and increasing access to STEM education. We also work to provide equitable opportunities for underrepresented populations to create lasting social impact. Funding Priorities The Micron Foundation's primary focus areas are to provide equitable opportunities for underrepresented populations, enrich our communities and increase access to STEM education to create lasting social impact. Creating a Culture of Giving We empower all Micron team members to strengthen their communities through our giving and volunteerism programs, extending the impact of our company to be a catalyst for the greater good in and around our Micron sites. Enriching our communities Enriching our communities extends beyond standard engagement. We truly weave a rich fabric among companies, governments, community leaders, neighborhoods, schools and citizens to drive social impact and uplift vulnerable and underpresented populations. The heart of Micron Gives lies at the intersection of our philanthropy, programs and people. We understand that people cannot succeed if their surroundings are not stable and if systemic barriers to their success exist. This is why we work with many partners to create economic stability, to establish programs that remove economic barriers and build the resilience of vulnerable populations and underserved communities. K-12 STEM education programs A quality education should not depend on a person’s neighborhood, town, race, religion, gender or socioeconomics. We firmly believe that education should be for all. Our programs and grants are designed to increase access to STEM education beginning in elementary school, where kids are just starting to explore their interests. The earlier students experience STEM activities, the more likely they are to continue exploring STEM education and careers in the future.Eligibility
