This funding opportunity enhances connections to STEM enrichment and career exploration by investing in hands-on, community-based STEM experiences outside the school day.

Eligible Applicants:

Idaho museums

Idaho libraries

After-school programs

Youth-serving nonprofits

Public education organizations

Non-profit organizations only (state agency funding restrictions)

Innovative projects that enhance curiosity

Build STEM skills

Promote students' future success

Hands-on, community-based STEM experiences

Career exploration activities

Project Requirements:

Program must take place within 1 year of funding awarded

Must be outside the school day

Mission: Unite public education, employers, and community partners to ensure all Idaho youth are prepared to access STEM opportunities.

Vision: Robust STEM-powered workforce driving Idaho's economic future.

Funding Details:

Award Maximum: $20,000

Award Minimum: $10,000

Typical Cycle: Open December 15, Close February 6

Award Notification: By February 20

Final Reporting Due: December 31 (same year)
